Leading regional tourism businesses, events, and visitor experiences from both New South Wales and Victoria were recognised at the 2018 Riverina Murray Regional Tourism Awards in Deniliquin last night.
Winners in 14 categories were announced at the gala awards ceremony from finalists including tourism businesses, events, restaurants, wineries and accommodation providers. More than 130 industry representatives were in attendance to see who would take home the coveted awards.
In association with the gala, Destination Riverina Murray partnered with Murray Regional Tourism to host the inaugural Riverina Murray Tourism Muster on Friday. A networking and business development day, it saw over 40 of the region’s tourism operators and event organisers engage in sessions with experts on topics including destination marketing, event risk management, and social media marketing.
